Asking me to switch from the monthly billing to the yearly average billing(not sure that's what it's called, but u know what I mean). Thinking about doing it. What's the pros/cons. Would be nice knowing what my bill is gonna be every month but how/when do they adjust if we use more/less?
And why did they send a certified letter? Thought I was in some kinda trouble when the mail lady walked in my biz! Nothing good ever comes certified!!!

It still fluctuates but it's a little more "normalized".
My balls ache thinking about the February bill.

My December bill may as well have been printed on a dildo.

it's called level-billing, and I didnt like it when I did it. Seemed like my "level" bill kept creeping up 5 every month, so i switched back to paying for what I actually use each month

It just averages your prior 12 months and bills you that for the next 12 months. But if you use more you have to pay the difference at the end of the year. If you use less you get a reimbursement for what you shouldn't have paid.

I really feel sorry for people who have no choice but to use Entergy. I moved to a Demco area a little over 5 years ago and can't believe how much cheaper it is.

I don't do normalized billing. I don't like not having control over how much or how less I consume and how much I pay for it.
My bills in the summer are usually $100 and in the winter, $50.
ETA: Not saying it's right, could be really dumb on my part.

The real kicker is that Demco buys its energy from Entergy and resells it cheaper to its customers than Entergy charges their own customers.

My bills normalize in that in the Winter my gas bill is high and energy bill is way down. In the summer my gas bill is hardly nothing and my energy bill is high.

Ultimately you only pay for what you use.... not sure what you are saying

I'm just surprised Entergy is wasting money on postage to send that letter out. Why would one need to sign for something so fricking stupid?
