With the addition to the stadium are they renovating the men's rooms, concessions and the tv's by the concessions. They are from the 1990's (very old). I brought a friend to a game that had never been and it was kind of embarrasing. lets hope it gets done........

The mens room will smell like Death in a coat of shite and throw up after the first home game.

The tv's have been needed to be upgraded for about 20 years. Glad they finally will get into this century with HD flat screens.

kind of embarrassing

You brought someone to what is widely considered a top venue in college football, and you were embarrassed by something that doesn't affect the product on the field?

I mean... The toilets don't even automatically powder your a-hole after you shite. It's deplorable.

It looks like LSU is already planning on how to update the interior of Tiger Stadium...

quote:

And Alleva said LSU is looking into improving the restrooms at Tiger Stadium — which might become necessary if beer sales are ever approved.

On what could happen to the old dorms in Tiger Stadium:

"It’s full of asbestos, so it all would have to be abated. The plumbing is shot. The electrical is shot. The ceilings are really low. It’s a really low ceiling, so aesthetically it limits what you can do. One of the things that we have the architect looking at now, and goes back to the fan experience, we have them looking into the possibility of creating more restroom space out of that dorm space, renovated space for particularly women’s restrooms. Women are really particular about that. So it we could create more restroom space, that would be a real advantage for us.

Those TVs are embarrassing though. You go to the restroom or concession stand, you should be able to watch the game on a TV without it looking like you are watching a scene from a VHS tape of Everybody's All-American

TVs don't bother me. I am only down there once maybe twice during the game.

Not hard but probably costly depending how many they have. You know it's going to be overpriced since it would be a state contract. Plus they are more likely to be stolen.

I don't give a shite about the TVs either, but you can get flat screens for dirt cheap now.

That would be pocket change to change out them tvs. I probably donated enough this year to change them out.

.

I agree , just hope they add some outdoor speakers to the corridor by the concession stands for those New Flat screen TVs. It would make for a non-stop experience, Not missing any of the action!! .....

Hey!! If you do it, Do it right!!

Apparently you have never sold anything on state contract. You hardly make enough to pay the postage on your invoice. I refuse state contract bids, now Fed contracts are another matter.

It would be better if the tv's were gone than the ones they have now.

I get the tv and concession complaints, but who cares about the bathroom?

I liken the smell to a bus full of unwashed homeless people with fresh perms.
