No Word On Jimmy Hearing Until Thursday

I vote that he'll be labeled a TE but they'll meet financially somewhere in the middle. Believe that's an additional +2.5 million that he'll make.
Won't matter much though because then they'll have some press conference where Drew Brees announces he's taking -2.5mil so that "his boy" Jimmy can get what he's earned. The city will go bat shite crazy and suck Drew off even more.

i hope you are right. just seems they are in absolutely no rush. we probably wont hear anything contract wise until closer to july 15th when jimmy would have to sign his tag.
i know he can still sign a new contract while tagged, but i think he'd prefer not to sign a tag either way.

I don't think there is any way they say hes anything other than a TE. That will open a whole big can of worms I don't think the NFL wants to deal with.
