Recommendations for good shoulder surgery Dr.

May need to have surgery and have heard some nightmares about some surgeries

Felix Savoie- Tulane in New Orleans.
He is the only Tulane doc I would ever recommend

I'd put up with a lot of discomfort before I'd have shoulder surgery. Phrenic nerve damage is a very real if infrequent possibility but the consequences are devastating including being on a ventilator for the rest of your life. This happened to a woman I worked with.

Dr. Chip Bankston in BR is great...he just did some work on my uncle.

Felix Savoie at Tulane s considered to be one of the best shoulder surgeons in the country.

He's the only Shoulder Doc in the Southeast I'd recommend that isn't named James Andrews.

My orthopedic did her fellowship with Andrews, she's a bad arse but in Atlanta but she did my shoulder surgery and it's better than my other shoulder.
