What has obama done right?

Kill Bin Laden? He actually made the go call on that. Outside of that, I am having a difficult time thinking of much.
Healthcare is a disaster.
Foreign policy is a disaster.
Cash for clunkers?
IRS?
I'm really struggling to find a policy idea that his administration has advanced that has worked. I'm sure there must a few. Or more than a few if one counts little things.

Great achievements all:
- Killed Bin Laden.
- Stimulus saved the American economy that was bleeding 700,000 jobs per month by the time Bush left office.
- 55 straight months of job growth. Stock markets at record highs.
- Obamacare brought healthcare protection to 25 million more Americans
- Significant new investments in green technology
- No major terrorist attacks on American soil
- Depriving Syria of its WMD's without firing a shot.
- New accountable-to-the-people governments in Libya, Egypt.
- North Korea still in check.
Those were just off the top of my head.
Imagine all the great things he could have done and could still do if Republicans hadn't banded together on day one and vowed to obstruct anything and everything he attempted.

Now those of us employed aren't getting raises due to cost of healthcare, or those getting new jobs aren't being hired full time so that companies don't have to provide insurance or face fines.

One would have to say he frittered away great liberal opportunities when he gained a filibuster-proof Senate.
From a Party Perspective:
He has retooled Democratic Campaign machinery. He's organized the electorate into approachable sectors for his party. He incorporated push advertising of dependency programs into healthcare.gov. All will be great boons for his party.

bin laden wasn't his achievement ... it was the culmination of work performed by the cia and military who would've done their work regardless of the president ... he just made the call when he felt the odds were good enough that it'd be successful and not make him look bad (just as any other president would've done) ... whatever economic growth that has occurred at any time in the past is not the result of something the president does ... people like you want to give credit to obama or clinton or, in the absence of a republican president, someone like newt gringrich ... their impact on the economy is miniscule ... the stimulus has bee well documented as being a large waste of money that resulted in little to no growth ... he as protected american soil for 7 years, something the bushie supporters always bragged about, but that's his job, not something extra to be commended ...

Wrong! Obama said yesterday that he was doing all that he could to help small business because veryone knows small business growth is the way to help the middle class and increase jobs. ;)
