Nicest condos in the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area...

I've been tasked with booking a vacation for some people, and they want to go there. I've never really been out that way. One will be mainly confined to the room so they're looking for something relatively nice. Any recommendations on some of the newer and/or nicer places in the Navarre to Destin area?

Down the road a short bit are The Crescent and Main Sail Resort. Both are in Mirimar. I've stayed at both. Both great places if you want to be on the beach. Pool is better at the crescent.

Thanks for the suggestions. We'll likely be going in LATE Summer or early Fall, so I'm figuring on most being available. I'll check them all out.

if you can swing it, go to orange beach and stay at Turquoise Place condominiums....nicest vacation lodging I have ever stayed in...

Turquoise Place-nice. Doesn't have to be that nice, but definitely on the upper end.

Never mind. Ignore the 30-A suggestions. We have different ideas of nice.

30-A is really nice, but you'll have to find an affordable place. In orange beach, the Phoenix's are nice, but flexibility will pay itself off. Other than that, just shop around and see who will give you a good rate!

main sail was sweet last couple years.. stayed in a cottage which at the back door was one of the pools... the beach was rite on the other side of the condoms
