Hello, F&D aficionados!

A friend of mine would like to recreate Pluckers' delicious Ranch Dressing, and I thought I could help out by asking the knowledgable experts of the food and drink board. There's an old locked thread about it that didn't have too much helpful information.

If anyone could share the recipe (or a similar recipe) I would appreciate it.

A lot of places order ranch packets and mix it with mayo and buttermilk as the consistency suits you..

Homemade ranch is another story, though.

and then call it homemade.

this is common.

add in one or two extra ingredients and then call it something else.

I don't know about their ranch but whatever blue cheese they use or make is pretty legit.

And apparently somebody else asked about this a few years ago.

Yeah, that's the thread I mentioned in the OP. I would have bumped it, but it was locked. Seems like nobody knows the actual recipe, but I thought I would give it a try!

Pluckers does have a really good ranch.

My guess is the aforementioned ranch packet with mayo and buttermilk.

Sure it's just your standard Ranch packet/buttermilk/mayo combo. I make a bottle every week or so when I remember.

Bottled ranch is awful.

You go through a bottle of ranch every week or so?

Don't get me wrong, I love me some ranch, but not quite that much
