Suns showing strong willingness to move 27th pick in draft for a future first-rounder, league sources tell Yahoo. Suns have 14 and 18, too.

Surprised they are willing to give up Favors

Jabari Parker is not only a top prospect in the draft, he's also a Mormon.

That sounds more like Cleveland trying to set a market for 1. You don't just give up a 22 yo C who put up 16 and 10 w/ 2 blocks PER 36 for a rookie wing like Parker.

Also, SB Nation is doing a live blogger mock draft. 15 picks in, already some wild trades but no Pelicans action.

This from Tim Kawakami's (Bay Area writer) post on Love/Thompson deal

Or, if they drop down a level, the Warriors could target Channing Frye (via free agency) or Ryan Anderson (via trade).

A deal centered around Barnes for Anderson could be intriguing- especially if the Pelicans can pull off getting Monroe without tossing in Anderson.

While Barnes would be a step up at the 3 and under a long-term contract, how do we solve our lack of long-distance shooting if Anderson is shipped out?

I like Barnes, but he really is a SF/PF tweener. He shined in the playoffs when the Warriors went small. I'd like him next to Anderson, kind of like a better version of Aminu.

I would rather them go after D. Green, maybe with a package of Ezeli. Not sure how to make that work salary wise.

You have to bring back Morrow and find a poor-man's stretch 4. You play Jrue more off ball (he can knock down the 3 fairly well when playing off) and you play Morrow more minutes at the 2 and 3, with Barnes getting minutes at 3 and 4.

Barnes regressed because they got AI.

I think he's an above average SF. Decent shot, decent defense, better than aminu.

Rivers had a higher PER last season than Barnes has had in either of his first two seasons. There's no way I'm giving up Ryno for him.

Eric Gordon to Pacers for Chris Copeland (poor man's stretch 4), Evan Turner(who you let walk) and Lavoy Allen.

Well, based on the numbers the past 4 seasons, I don't think Monty particularly cares about a lack of 3pt shooting.

This is really a scenario for me only if they get Mornoe or some other big of that quality. If they get Monroe they are moving away from small ball, spread the floor action anyway.

Not a bad deal. I like Turner though. Could be had on a low contract since he stunk up the end of last year. He's a SF and young. Allen and Copeland gives us depth.

Gordon replaces Stephenson and could have a big year being the 3rd option. If they keep Stephenson, they could slide Gordon to PG, with Stephenson being the primary initiator..

Win-win..

He's too much like Tyreke to pay him much though.

Turner is not good. He had a great college career.

Aminu is considerably better.

What?

He'd be the sixth man if anything.

Turner is trash
