Errol isnt close with anybody at alabama anymore. Not to mention CEG isnt even going to be at STA anymore. Topic needs to be removed.

I edited my post, but he's still a bama graduate.

So you're insinuating he would push him toward alabama or have an influence on him going there?

Eh not on purpose at least as much as I know him. He taught one of my classes and was there all 4 years I was there, he didn't seem like that type. He did have really close relationships with many of the athletes and with them looking up to him they may take a liking to Alabama. I personally don't think he has really anything against LSU. I've just known many athletes at STA who chose to cheer for Alabama rather than LSU at least while I was in school.

If Alexander were to commit to Bama over DLU, in-state school, I would have to chalk it up to another win for the REC.

He's wanted to go to Bama for awhile, even before he first committed here.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but why even commit to LSU then? He, or atleast someone in his circle, had to know the Bama offer was coming.

Don't claim to know the boys rationing or reason. Know for a fact the boy has been telling teammates that he has wanted to play for Saban at Bama since last year.

No, I dont have links to what goes on in high school locker rooms. If Ed doesnt want people repeating what he says he wants, then he needs to quit telling people and keep it to himself. Could not care less if anyone here has a problem with this.

This. Things like this burn my arse. If you want to go to bama, wait for the offer. Don't give your word to the in-state school only to spurn them for their most hated foe. I believe we will get elite players no matter what certain kids decide to do, but this just isn't how it should be done.

Actually clears things up a bit. He's just a kid and is obviously having a lot of attention thrown at him. I mean shite, the rumors when he decommitted were that State was his leader. Just gonna have to let this one play out.

Coach Gauff was a basketball coach at STA this year was his last and is going to Southeastern to be an assistant. He graduated from Alabama and was very close with all the athletes regardless of what sport you played. I went to school there graduated in 11', my brother is a sophomore on the football team now. He thinks ed will go to Bama.

No offense, but I've known Errol since you were in kindergarten and I completely disagree about him being an alabama alum having any influence over a player there.
Not to mention Jose and many other facility and staff members are extremely pro LSU.
