We looked pretty damn good on the attack this game, should we stick with this against Germany (assuming Jozy is out) or should we make another change?

I would use the same line-up against Germany, assuming everyone is healthy and ready to go.

I would like to see different subs though. Mix and Johannsson in particular.

I'll be interested to see this. Hard to argue with the same lineup though.

Germany plays pretty narrow and tries to control the midfield with possession and pressing when they don't have it, at least moreso than Ghana and Portugal. So do we try to match that and compact the midfield, or try to spread them out with some wide midfielders?

I kinda wish we had GAM for this one too just to basically play off Mertesacker's shoulder and make runs all game. Their backline isn't weak by any stretch of the imagination, but they're far from perfect.

yes, but we looked better b/c

1. we pushed WAY harder than we did against ghana, b/c

2. portugal didn't have the athletic/attacking midfield that ghana did, plus the scores were basically reversed

we got left WIDE out a few times today b/c we were exposed from pushing up too hard. germany won't frick up those counter-fast breaks

Yes, Deuce did well holding up, and Bradley up high did well in the first half. Lahm may eat him up though.

I a particularly interested in Fabian against Germany's outside backs, which are their weakness.
