Since I quit smoking 2 months ago, the occasional Saturday or Sunday morning is not nearly as painful. Any ex-smokers that can relate to this?
Feels good to have a fun night then be able to function near 100% the next day.

Not a smoker but one particular bar I use to go to was always smokey. Even if I drank a little I always felt like hit the next day

morning after the saints first playoff win...I knew something had to give, either smoking or drinking...giving up smoking was easily the best thing I ever did for my physical being.

nicotine is a drug that will cause withdrawals if taken away, alcohol removes nicotine from your body at pretty good rate, the next day double whammy

It is really a 100% turnaround since I quit. I'm 32 and feels like a 22 hangover now

I quit, but still smoke when I drink. The cigarettes make it far worse the next day.

The hangovers aren't as bad but you drink a lot more and get a lot more fricked up in a much shorter time period...The nicotine is a stimulant and the cigs cut into drinking time...source: I quit 2 years ago

Quit smoking a month ago too

Feels better but I feel like I drink more now than when I was smoking cigarettes.

As an adult with a good job, booze is all there is. You should know this.

Try some pills then. There's a whole thread below on how to scam doctors into writing scripts.
