My wife bought me a pair. Her friends said I'd love them since I fish and play outdorrs. I hate to upset her but frick my feet are sweating. Any advice? Powder? Some kind of low cut socks? I've never worn them before.
Thanks
Thanks

Columbia shoes? The waterproof ones?

They are going to sweat and stink. Just part of boat shoe life
They make a boat shoe sock that wicks moisture and helps to prevent blisters, but I've not worn them before

They gone Stank, especially if worn on the boat. I have a pair I keep just for fishing.. Needless to say, they stay in the garage.

I just got some leather ones and they hot. I might look into the boat shoe socks.
I like them though. Mine are from bass and got them for 48 with tax.

yes, put a lot of powder in them before you wear them. I use Caldescene powder and it keeps the sweating to a minimum.

I got home from fishing, stripped down and walked into the shower with my "boat shoes" (merrel sandals) on. They needed a bath bad especially after stepping off the boat into dead shad.

I was barefoot until my little treble hook fun times. They are sketchers. I just can't break it to her to just by me a few six packs or some ammo instead.

Go alligator huntin with them once and they will clear out the superdome!!! Chum juice makes um stink to. I take mine to the carwash and clean them with the tire cleaner, then rinse. We're men, our shoes are supposed to stink

Y'all gonna laugh but my boat shoes are crocks and the comfort is excellent. Add in if they get wet, doesn't matter b/c no socks & the holes = quick dry. The only downside is when the horseflys are bad in the marsh, occasionally 1 xtra a-hole horsefly will go in 1 of the holes commando style and sting a toe.

Stick them in a deep freeze for 1-2 days. It works.

The all leather ones or the other kind? Or does it matter?
