Started adding a bit of running to my routine the last couple of months. I live just a few miles from the beach and figure it would be a lot cooler and more forgiving run this time of year. Do you run with shoes or barefoot? I already run with a minimalist shoe so I dont think barefoot in the break would be much different.

I ran with this guy. Shoes are actually easier than bare foot. Surprised me.

Fíng excellent!!!!! I miss not being home.

I mix barefoot runs in, but normally run with shoes (especially when running distance).

As do I. I just think running barefoot every now and then is healthy. It´s hard on the feet, but I think it´s good for the system.

If your running barefoot, you may get blisters on the bottom of your big toes at first. But they will eventually go away.

I always preferred shoes when running on the beach. At least it would give you some protection from the petrified hardhead catfish spines or glass shards mixed in with the sand.

Yeah, I'm from the MS Coast, we keep our beaches real, and trashy.

Running on a beach, as part of a regular routine, is foolish.
