So some guy just rang my doorbell at almost 12:30 at night stating that he is a neighbor, completely unexpected.

He told me that we supposedly aren't allowed to have cars parked on the street, which is news to me because I see cars parked on the street all the time, and he threatened to have it towed.

I asked him if that was supposed to be a night only thing, and he said no and that at all times of day we're not supposed to have any cars on the road.

This is a guy that is constantly outside in his front yard with his dog running across the street, and chatting it up with his next door neighbor and a guy across the street. He would probably fit the profile of trashy by OT standards.

I told him not to ring my doorbell or knock on my door after dark without some kind of prior notice and I told him I've never lived in a neighborhood where you weren't allowed to have guests over. I was pretty testy with him and he probably scurried into his house to call for a tow truck.

How would the OT have handled this?

Called the cops or answered the door with a shotgun.

But seriously, were they even your car(s) or were they just parked in front of your house?

He sounds like he's on something.

You actually opened your door to someone at 12:30 at night?

Unless there's a sign on the street saying you can't park, screw him.

Somewhat similar but I had an old man knock on my door at 9pm on a Saturday night to tell me a car was parked in the road in front of my house. Turns out you can't park cars on my main street that I'm on. Was a pretty dick move but we moved it.

Some people just suck.

Um.. none of this matters.

Sounds like you live in an "interesting" area.

Motherfricker rings my doorbell at 12:30 AM it better be a motherfricking cop with a motherfricking arrest warrant. I might open the door then.

Threaten to burn his fricking house down if a tow truck parks next to your property.

Tomorrow, go to the feed store. Buy a 5lb bag of mustard seed. Throw handful of seeds in his yard at about 3am. Wait. Smile.

Will mustard trees take over his yard?

It was the car of one of my friends.

I walked outside and noticed there were no other cars on the street afterward. This must be something he has been telling other people as well, this just happens to be the first time I've had a car out on the street in the last few weeks.

He said it was a rule of the neighborhood and it has always been and they are just now starting to enforce it.

No. Pansies like this fret over details. Big leafed mustard greens growing everywhere will make them cry.

To me it does. We can never have cars parked on the side of the street, so I shouldn't be finding shite in my front yard from an unleashed dog.

That's a cool idea.

Throwing feces at the guy's house would be cool too

If he's the only one you've heard mention the supposed "rule", he might just be getting off on making everyone else obey him.

Well thanks for the info guys.

I felt like I was pretty abrasive and some of you are saying you would have blown his face off with a sawed-off so I guess I handled it fine.
