Anyone been? My SO follows them on Instagram and the food/doughnuts look amazing....are they as good as they look? Worth a pretty good drive to try?

I heard their head donut chef left a few weeks ago and took her special recipes with her.

I've only been to get coffee and I have to say the coffee was pretty awful. The donuts do look good, if donuts are your thing. I personally would rather a bagel from next door. There's constantly a line 10+ people deep so they're doing something right. How's about give it a try and report back.

pretty good giant donuts (although donut purists have informed they are not true donuts, whatever that means) and good, creative sliders. I'd rather go to Stein's for a sandwich though.

I like the atmosphere, but I can agree that the coffee wasn't the best. Also, I ate the Monte Cristo, which was "meh" at best. There was an overpowering mustard on the sandwich that didn't do it for me.

My wife and friends had donuts (don't remember what kind), but they enjoyed them.

ETA: I agree with Reg, if I'm getting a sandwich in the area it'll definitely be from Steins from now on.

I'd rather step next door and get a hot pastrami and swiss on rye.

I've eaten there a few times. Both the donuts and the sliders were really good. Think I had a fried chicken and also a pork belly slider and both were good.

Donuts are good but the savory ones are gross. Stick with the sweet donuts.

Have yet to try any sliders but I've always heard those are great. I'm itching to try their Korean bulgogi slider and their breakfast wrap with kimchi and bimbimbap but they only serve the Korean foods about 1-2 times a week it seems.

My main complaint with their donuts is that their glaze donuts aren't hot. I love my donuts to have that hot, fresh out of the oven taste.
