Stainless Steel Flashing Needed - Ceramic Grill Shelf Cover

May not necessary HAVE to be Stainless Steel....but metal. Non-burnable with ashes.
I am building a wooden grill table....and need about a 24 inch by 24 inch piece of flashing to screw onto the wood below my ceramic grill.
Anyone know a place around BR that can supply it? Or maybe screw it on if I bring them the shelf I want it attached to?
Much appreciated. Considered using an old metal sign...but they look better on the wall in the barn than would on my grill table.

Home Depot and Lowes sell aluminum and steel sheet metal in small sheets like that.
They even have diamond tread aluminum.
Superior Steel off Choctaw could probably hook you up too.

FYI: It doesn't get that hot on the outside...

Thanks and Thanks.
Grill will be on pavers, just wanted to put the pavers on a substance that will be heat resistant. Not needed, im sure....just hate for ashes to start burnin my table if I get to screwin with them.

The metal isn't needed. You should never have to fool with the ashes from the bottom vent while the ashes are hot.

If you have any buddies that work in O&G, they can get some SS sheeting from insulators. They use if or the outer most layer when insulating pipe. It sounds like it would be perfect for what your trying to do, not to thick and not to thin.

Or go by Cribbs Roofing or Vaughan Roofing, they will have stainless or pre finished colors, and cut it to your size.

The steel is unnecessary. Mine is on the feet on top of granite tiles. I can never figure out why people put ash guards on their table. I've never had hot ash come out, even cooking at 650 degrees.
