7. Double Cheeseburger, Holeman & Finch Public House, Atlanta

I agree with this. #7 did make my mouth water though. Will have to try the next time I'm in ATL.

The fried egg on the burger has become pretty popular up here in Chicago & surrounding suburbs.
Not sure if that's a thing down south, but it is pretty damn good

Looks like we all agree on 1 & 7.
I'm surprised that "Juicy Lucy" didn't make this list. That burger looks amazing.

I've been to Kuma's Corner and to The Burger Bar. Both were great.

I had the spicy lamb burger from burger bar in Vegas. It was definitely the best burger I've ever eaten.

At some point is that 'we only make 24 a night' gimmick going to be played out?
I have to hand it to them, though. They seem to have gotten a ton of mileage out of it.

I feel like I need to try the Louis' Lunch burger in New Haven because it looks like shite to me as it's on white frickin' toast.

I really dislike nostalgia selections. I refuse to believe that a dinky burger on toast with tomato and onion is one of the top 10 burgers in the country.

The fried egg has been on burgers down here for a while. It's now a staple in just about all burger places.
Nothing really on this list is different or that interesting. And no juicy Lucy makes the list completely irrelevant to me

I'm not a fan of the fried egg on the burger. It just doesn't do anything for me.

A dry, well-done burger with lava hot American cheese in the middle? No thanks.

I don't see Awful's in Reno. This list is doo doo.

#4 Father's Office is the best burger I've ever eaten. About 10 minutes from my house, and they have Pliny the Elder on tap. I go at least twice a week.

I've had #7, it was quite good but not worthy of the praise it gets or the insanity surrounding actually getting one. Be there by 6pm to eat a burger at 10pm is just silly.

I've had the Luger Burger. It was good, but count me as one that doesn't quite understand the love for this place. There are just as good options available without making the trek out to Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
