Ice machine stopped producing ice. Yesterday I cleaned out ice that was stuck in the trays not allowed it to "dump" the ice and start a new batch. Fixed. Nope. Now the water inlet won't produce water into the trays for it to ice. I can hold down the power button and see that it goes through the motion as if it were receiving water but there is no water coming in. So far I have check the water out of the wall. Good. No ice frozen in the line from the freezer to the water source. Continuity is good. Suggestions?

There should be a solenoid that opens to let water flow in. Sounds like it could be that.

Do you have a digital thermometer and controls or manual?

1. Buy water trays
2. Fill with water
3. Freeze them
4. Get drunk

Just joking, but that's a solid backup plan.

How long does a filter last? Bought a new one in 2012.
