I think it used to play on Fridays or Saturday nights and the host would cook something on the breaks. So it was like a cooking show and movie combined, but I like the movies they picked out to watch. Anyone else used to watch this?

I remember there were too many fricking commercials and it made the movie last forever ... despite the hot chick.

Also this.

Just the fact that they would talk about the movie, make jokes or give factoids was kinda cool at the time.

I did nothing on Fridays when I wasn't doing weekend activities...so I watched this all the time.

Forgot what the female host looked like back then, and since no pics yet:

Yea they picked good movies and gave some little tidbits of info about the movies and also cooked a dish related to the movie. This program intoduced me to the movie Maximum Overdrive.

I used to watch it all the time. Never cooked along with them because I was a teenager, but they always showed awesome movies.

One episode I distinctly remember was when they were playing Dumb and Dumber and they talked about the scene where the bad guy is on the phone in the phone booth and the guy keeps pestering him to get off the phone. From what I remember, they said something about the guy really getting hit in the face during that scene or something like that.

Was it TNT that had Monster Vision with Billy Bob or what not?

I think so. It was Joe Bob Briggs. I used to watch that a lot.

That when TBS was at its peak as a Superstation IMO. Braves, some NASCAR, WCW, good rerun lineup, and Movies with a show within it like Dinner and a Movie.

Now it's the same reruns ran over and over, Movies ran 5 times in the same weekend, bad Tyler Perry shows, and bad original shows sans Sullivan and Son.

I haven't watch TBS or tnt in years so I don't know what plays anymore. Those movie shows were the best, WCW was great, watch alot of braves games and tnt had a show for NBA games also.

Monstervision was another great show. Bringing back lots of memories.
