Safe to say the Dutch have been the most impressive thus far, but otherwise who have you been most impressed by?

Brazil looked rather shaky in the opener. Italy I thought was pretty impressive today.

I'm not saying they looked the best, but I was very impressed with Costa Rica and Australia.

Oddly enough, Costa Rica. Solid if not dominant vs world #5 today. Just sayin'

I know Greece barely made it in but Colombia looked good. Not that I'm a soccer expert but the whole 90 minutes the team and the crowd just seemed to be out there having fun, no pressure at all.

If we're gauging the difference between actual and expected, then definitely.

Costa Rica's win was very impressive but Uruguay isn't close to the Top 5 in the world anywhere except FIFA's odd computers.

Finishing 5th in South American is probably a better gauge of Uruguay and that was with Suarez.

Agreed. And there's a very small talent gap between Costa Rica and Uruguay minus Suarez.

1 match doesn't mean anything, give it another game to start judging. Because then Spain looks like the worse team here.

I don't know why Colombia is surprising. They were a terror in South American qualifying (admittedly - WITH Falcao and NOT against Brazil), and Greece is terrible.

No one said it was surprising, just that they looked good.

OP didn't say surprising, he said who has looked the best. IMO Colombia looked best start to finish of any team so far save for the Dutch. Also not sure how Greece is terrible

My bad. The conversation veered a bit and I didn't keep up.

Italy looked strong, and even in defeat England showed they can play.
