You should go across the street where the parking lot is full.
That would be what some on this board would suggest, but they would be wrong.
LeCreole was good the last 2 times I went there in the last year.

I've had a few good meals there. It isn't cheap. I like it.

I agree you should bring your wallet but keep an open/adventurous mind and let a great Chef take care of you. Service is excellent in my opinion although I find service around BR is always very good. I guess it depends on how you treat them always reflects on how they treat me?

It was Baton Rouge good if that makes sense. I have enjoyed the meals I had there. I like their crab cakes, bluecheese wedge salad.
My son liked shrimp and grits there and their steaks are pretty good.
Prices, probably 10-14 for apps and 25-35 for entrees which is par for the course in BR
Enjoy.

If U want a steak go to Ruth Chris
Want something different go to le creole , both are similar in price , RC maybe slightly higher, if not in the mood for steak, at that price point I would go to latils landing at houmas house vs Le creole

"Awful" and "terrible" in this thread? F&D board has hit rock bottom. No real criticism or actual complaints, just hearsay and nonsense. I haven't been in a while but obviously neither have those 2 clowns. I would love to hit Ruffinos for dad's day however

I haven't been there, but they put some good looking dishes on the Facebook page. Just looking at them, I'd have a hard time with someone telling me it's "awful".
