Everything is just a guessing game, but it's become even more likely that he's going to opt out of the last year of his deal. You can expect more updates on Anthony than any other player over the next month.

Opting out isn't the same as signing with another team. He could opt out and resign.

If he's willing to take less than the max, then he should go with the Bulls. The Knicks won't be able to do anything until after this season when Stoudemire and Chandler come off the books.

I mean, they were 12th in the league in defensive efficiency. Only slightly worse than Miami, Toronto, and Washington, who are considered at least pretty good defensive teams.
