Way back in 1982, before Youtube, Wikipedia, dozens of sports channels, message boards, etc.

I was kind of surprised to see that race-baiting troll Phil Mushnick was one of the first guys to embrace soccer. Figured he would be perfect for the whole "soccer is for communists and hippies" crowd, but apparently not.

My grandparents lived across the street from Phil Mushnick, and I apparently met him when I was little.
