He knows he has to for his legacy. He needs to surround himself with better players than what he currently has to win. Not a knock on him at all. The talent around him is only getting worse.

If wade doesn't opt out then the heat are screwed and LBJ has a decision to make

Wade may know he is shot and just take the $40mm parting gift he is owed

Yea. Miami doesnt have a solid #2. Wade seems like he is finished and Bosh needs help around him to flourish.

But but but but but but but LBJ is tGOAT. He shouldn't have to be an nba groupie to win titles. Sad.

I think it would be a cool story if he went back to Cleveland. Kyrie, Lebron, and the #1 pick this year and they are an automatic favorite in the east

Agreed.

Wade is not going to opt out. Throwing 40mil down the drain is idiotic to think he will.

I know they took pay cuts when they first signed, the few million/yr in salary, but the amount of publicity and $$ they got in rings, playoff runs, etc offset that.

If Wade opts out, he'll make something like Duncan's 3yr/36mil.

dude bailed Cleveland to Miami because of star players. now he's gonna bail on Miami for the same reason lack of star players. He's bailing to wherever now. He's the Bobbie Brown of the NBA. Shaq would be tawny kitaen

I'm leaning towards the thinking that LeBron will stay in MIA, but yours isn't a very farfetched scenario.

It's kind of funny to me that everyone has counted out Miami. Sure it's unlikely that they win but basketball is the one sport in which one player can win a game by themselves and LeBron is easily the best player on the planet!

According to LeBron fanboys, he gets all credit when they win, and no fault when they lose.

I agree with them a lot of the time. Like I said in basketball one player can take over a game and win it but you can't really expect one player to ALWAYS do that!
