It's amazing how fast fans turn on their heroes during contract negotiations.

Jimmy can't block

Jimmy doesn't run to the ball, he just waits there for it.

IDK anymore...

Jimmy likes Elaine. Jimmy thinks Elaine is just his type.

My point exactly for "86"ing him.

It ain't about Contract negotiations for me

I don't blame Graham for trying to get the most money he can. I don't blame the Saints for standing their ground. Obviously I want Graham on the team, but not at a top 5 WR salary

He needs to play like a WR if he wants to get paid like one though. See New England and Seattle games. Sorry Jimmy...a top 5 WR doesn't go for zero catches in 1 on 1 coverage for an entire game.

In the end, I want him back as a TE. If it's decided he gets paid like a WR, then have fun in Oakland/Cleveland/ or wherever they overpay

I agree.

The Saints would get a player or two and at least a 1st, as well.

Yeah and no there is always another jimmy like player somewhere. If you think shockey was just as good and put up some good numbers with us. It's a matter of drew Bree's feeding him the ball. Any te can be great if the coach makes every play design around him and get receivers to disrupt and give that person space. Most of Jimmy's plays come from the fact someone run beside him and create space for him. At times with big physical receivers he can't do it unless that happens.
