I like overbuilt and overpriced stuff, but the Yeti (and similar) is the one thing I just don't even lust for. Especially the small ones, WTF is the point of that.

The engineering is a thing to behold. They've somehow figured out a way to insulate a plastic box with foam core walls. It's mind-blowing technology, really. I'd pick whichever one is the most expensive. It's probably best because they have to pay the engineers the most.

But I want a cooler that is so friggin good that I can take it to northern Alaska and keep my ice warmer than the outside air. That's how important temperature stabilization is to me.

I have a K2 Cryo 60 quart and a Yeti Roadie 20 (got them from work as safety awards). I doubt I would spend that much money on any cooler but they're pretty nice. One thing I can say about the Yeti is that it's a heavy SOB!
