They picked up on a story run earlier by the Washington Post.

There has been no shortage of criticism surrounding the release of Bowe Bergdahl, and a now-deleted tweet is joining the roster of things being picked apart. As the Washington Post reports, Bergdahl's father, Bob, last week tweeted the following: "I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, ameen." Though it has since been scrubbed from Twitter—without explanation, though the media has asked—it was apparently directed at a Taliban rep and was posted only four days before news of the prisoner exchange broke. And it has some of those critics railing against the Bergdahls and their perceived "contempt for their own country," writes the Post.

So the Bergdahl's and Obama's have the same belief system.

So he tweeted that after being in on secure DOD telecoms?

But wait, I thought Hagel said that if anything was mentioned about bergdahl, that he would be killed.... That's why 80 people were in the know and not a single US Representative.

Wow.
And the DoD won't give the families of dead soldiers a straight answer if their sons were killed while looking for this guy.
Now that's change you can believe in.

Answers? Hagel said in the hearing that he has asked all of his people at the Pentagon if any soldiers had died looking for Bergdahl and there is no proof that it happened. He answered in a way that to me he was saying don't ask me again about it. However, it is complete bullshite.

Their sons didn't sympathize with the poor, oppressed, Muslim freedom fighters supported by our president.

Well that completely contradicts his fellow soldiers and the dead soldiers families accounts...

I'm a little tipsy and behind on the news but what's wrong with letting the parents participate? As long as it was on mute and they weren't involved in the strategy decision making after the videos, what's wrong with letting them see what's going on with their son?

I think pops was/is a taliban sympathizer and the parents were included on top secret talks...
