I heard a young kid got shot there yesterday. Other than that, nothing.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a man dead inside a vehicle early Wednesday morning.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said it happened on Greenwell Springs Road near Monterrey Drive around 2:45 a.m.
The victim's name has not been released.
Capt. Ronald Norman with BRPD reported officers arrived on the scene to find the victim in the driver's seat of a van. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van was located in the grass near the KFC on Greenwell Springs Road.
Investigators blocked off the area for several hours while they collected evidence. Greenwell Springs Road was completely reopened just before 6:30 a.m.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is assisting in the investigation. District Attorney Hillar Moore was also on the scene.
Police have not released any information on a suspect or motive.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
