Porter started barking at the back door, so I investigated and found this bundle of joy.

I stepped out of the door and it struck at me,good thing my AFO is carbon fiber.

Spawn of satan, back to hell with you.

I noticed in the pics you were shaking very badly over a harmless snake. Get your husband next time and he should kindly move back in the garden for you, sugar tits.

Can't tell if that's spots on it or not. My guess is a Racer if not. Speckled King snake if so.
Eta. After further review I say racer

I've never seen a bigger group of pussys in all my life. Y'all claim to be outdoorsman but shite your pants when you see a harmless black snake. Wtf if wrong with you people. I only kill if it's venomous. Y'all kill a worm thinking it's a snake.

Call me a pussy if you want, but if something strikes at me (especially a worm), better believe I'm striking back.

They can't be bothered with the enormous outdoor task of learning to identify the 4 types of venomous snakes in north america.

eta: Judging by the apparent keeled scales, I think it's a water snake - probably a yellow-bellied one. But, it's hard to say since the photos are so blurry.

I saw a nice sized speckled king snake at the house over the weekend. I called my wife out to take a look and explained that the snake ate other snakes. She agreed to let it live if it stayed away. I reached down and tried to touch its tail and it took off. A little later she saw it again, but she wasn't calling for its head...

Yup. Handshaking during pic makes it difficult though. Those things are very scary.

Here's what I think about that. Since the Obama admin. has taken over, I don't trust a damn thing, or anyone, I haven't known for a long time.

The common Green Snake here, is the fricking Green Mamba in Africa. Who knew the Hognose Snake was a mildly venomous rear fanged snake? Crazy people do crazy things, such as turn those things loose in the wild. And mutations?

I know and can speedily recognize our 4 species of venomous snakes. I worry about the imposters. Until B.O. is gone and order is restored to these United States of America, I will outen any snake that crosses my path.
