Braised Short Rib recipes needed

About to attempt to make it for the first time. Any good recipes, bits of advice?

For the first time, pioneer woman recipe is good and really easy imo.

That's a good one to start with. It's not hard. Don't rush it. Brown them nicely and then low and slow. You can add whole carrots and chopped potatoes over the short ribs in the pot if you want a single pot meal.

Make sure to give it that day to skim the fat. Worth it.

Also.. her recipe where she braises them normally and then adds heavy cream and capers and mustard is out of this world.

Here's a recipe that showed up in a thread a couple weeks ago after I made some beef short ribs in the oven.

Braising recipe for lamb

I use this recipe for short ribs. The meat is rich enough to stand up to the port. And I only serve my short ribs with wild mushroom risotto. Easily my favorite meal.

Try the recipe in the SILVER PALATE, has great stuff in it , Italian tomatoes, garlic , onions, carrots, brown sugar, red wine vinagar and the key 7 whole cloves.
Braised for 2 hours at 350. I take them outand purée the veggies into a sauce with an immersion blender.
