Teams are getting more and more desperate these days with these dumb coaching hires

Jason Kidd was dumb, this is a dumb hire.

All a part of the script right?

The Knicks got their coach when they hired Phil Jackson. Fisher will be a mere puppet.

Apparently it's a done deal.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if coaching hires were scripted to. It seems today that teams want to hire coaches that will be a friend of the players and not stir the pot, instead of a coach

Coaches like Poppovich are a dying breed

Steve Kerr could be good but he has to prove it first

Has his retirement papers even been filed yet?

Although unlikely, he could be a player-coach.

With it being Fisher, it wouldn't surprise me.

Say he retired but still was under contract with OKC and they never release his rights

Could he be come out of retirement to be a player coach for the Knicks? Or would he be required to play for OKC?

Just a random and probably stupid question

I want to agree with you but I also get tired of the re-cycling of old, fired coaches...

Somebody can make a killing by starting up a basketball coach training academy because there seems to be a real shortage of them.

This is a better hire than Kidd.

Who is out there that wants the job? No high profile college guys want it.
