Even more brilliant analysis.

Next you'll tell us Julius Randle could be a good pro, but he has to be a good pro first.

The players, namely the superstars, hire coaches these days. Not the GMs or Owners

Proof: Chris "I want a black coach" Paul

GMs and Owners losing control of locker room. Players have become too powerful

I don't even think Fisher or Kidd have a chance to be successful at this time. They need more seasoning, as an assistant or something.

Kerr on the other hand I think he has the potential to be a good hire.

I read Fischer's deal is 5yr/25mil

Isn't this somewhat comparable to Kerr?

Great point. Don't these people know that Bernie Bickerstaff, Mike Fratello, and Mike Dunleavy are available? Why the hell would anybody hire an unproven coach when these accomplished specimens are available? I mean, come on, Phil. They all can't be Flip Saunders or Mike Brown.

And there's clear collusion afoot if Tim Floyd couldn't get a call.

Sure, the Nets had the best record in the Eastern conference this calendar year, but still, the Kidd hire was stupid. His Coach of the Month honor in January was a weak attempt by the NBA to appease the mixed race community.

People should listen to you a whole lot more. Maybe if you post more, that would happen.

I think it is a great hire. It's Phil Jackson hiring somebody who can execute his system. Exactly the situation Fish needs to be a successful coach and in my opinion a good situation for Phil Jackson too.

True. Hence Mike Brown and Mike D'Antoni in Los Angeles. Monty Williams in New Orleans. Jason Kidd keeping his job.

Your only evidence is made up.

Nice hires by New York and GS.

Wait, nope. Jackasses. Especially GS. Yeah, let's fire a guy who may not be the sharpest person, but had players who loved him(front office trouble, blah blah I know). Oh, and let's replace him with Neil Patrick Harris, who has absolutely no coaching experience but ya know, he was one heckuva smart scrappy point guard. We should also pay him much more than he's worth because beep boop Phil Jackson. That'll get us past the second round. Christ. Worst part is having to listen to Mark Jackson butcher the english language with 2 catchphrases repeated 100 times a game while JVG spazzes out beside him.

I think it is a solid solution. Terribly negotiated contract because he shouldn't be paid that much, but I think he'll do well.

Kidd actually wasn't that awful this year…or as awful as people think. That teams was pretty beaten up for most of the season, and when healthy they finally pulled it together a bit more. It's a learning on the job experience, but he will be just fine come the next few seasons. Fisher as well. Not a bad hire at all.

I appreciate what he did for OKC but glad he's gone. Brooks over relied on him a ton.
