Thermostat is on cool and this thing is blowing out hot air. Not just outside air, i mean the frickin heater is on. Was 91 degrees when i walked in to work at 4:30am. Could it be a busted thermostat? It's still "conditioning" the air, just in the wrong direction, lol

Change the filter and call someone, then pray it's low on coolant. Just purchased a new unit a month ago.

Check your pan to make sure it's not full of water. There is a switch that will trip the cooling if the drain line plugs which is not unusual.

Check the drip pan in the attic. If it is clogged your fan will work but not the compressor.

Clean it out and chill.

i don't think it's just the fan running. it was 75 outside and 91 inside when i got here. it seems like the heater is on even though its set on cool. is this possible?

compressor. It's just sucking and blowing hot air. It will always be hotter inside than out in this scenario. Get your AC guy out there stat
