Heard great things about this whiskey and finally got my hands on a bottle. Maybe the best whiskey i have ever had considering the price.

For the price point, it's is good. Not the best rye, however
My favorite rye on the shelves is Willett Rye. (Sazerac 18yr not included, b/c it's hardly on shelves)

I'm not much of a rye guy but the best one I've had, other than BTAC ryes, was EH Taylor rye.

Like whistlepig for a sipper. Willett and high west eyes are very good too

I haven't had high West rye, only their bourye and it's damn good.

Small batch.. It's my favorite sub $40 bottle of bourbon out there
Barrel proof.. Well this stuff is just fricking delicious. Id put it up against George T Stagg. Anyday.
The rye.. Like I said, I'm not a huge rye guy but I really enjoy EHT Rye.
I haven't been lucky enough to try the sour mash or tornado bottles but from what I hear, they're killer.

i have to agree with all that. well, everything except the barrel proof and Stagg thing... while the barrel proof is awesome, it's not Stagg. not for me at least but Stagg is probably my all time favorite

Bulleit rye is the best rye for the money out there. But rittenhouse is pretty damn good.
I love Willet but it can be expensive for what you get. whistlepig is good but not worth the price.
I love all the EH Taylor's. And the high west is usually very solid.
If you see riverboat rye, get it. Its really tasty and cheap.
