Main event time. Let's do this!

No idea why the other thread was anchored. This is one of the biggest fights of the year.

Martinez can't get out of the way of Cottos left. 3 knock downs in round one. Wow

I'm hoping for a Pacquiao-Marquez I-type comeback for Martinez.

The only way Sergio wins this fight is by KO

Sergio may be bigger, but he's definitely not faster or more technically skilled, like I thought he would be. Cotto looks dominant so far.

It's been a while since Martinez has been dominant like he use to be.

Yeah but this isn't the Martinez of 2009-2012. Cotto would have never fought that version of Maravilla. He's a shot fighter now.

Fight stopped after 9. Cotto is the new middleweight champ.

Martinez couldn't come out for the 10th.

Wow. What a performance. What a champion! Incredible.

This is the last result I would have expected. All respect to Miguel Cotto.

ETA: Cotto-Golovkin?
