Just made my first AR purchase.

The lower is a BCM lower with Daniel Defense lower parts kit and all ambidextrous parts. (magpul CTR stock).

The upper is a BCM 14.5 barrel pinned and welded with a BCM compensator. 13" KMR rail.

VTAC padded sling and magpul flipups.

Aimpoint PRO (still not in)

Sweet arse set up
Good luck with those NSR panels!

Also, not sure if you're aware, but you can get a shorter safety selector for that BADASS to use on your trigger finger side, so it won't interfere.

I'm guessing you're not a fan of the NSR panels?

Have em on my 5.56, love em. They are just an absolute bitch to install. I had to do quite a bit of trimming around the slotted tab that slides into the keymods.

That's what I had heard, but I think because I don't have the Noveske rail they don't fit that damn tight. Or possibly Noveske fixed that issue. The single pieces slid right in and the end piece snapped in a little snug to lock everything else in. It was super easy I was surprised.

I have an SLR keymod, and I couldn't even get them on with a hammer. Had to make that gap around the tabs a good millimeter or 2 larger to be able to make installation possible. Worth the trouble though, looks real nice and I love the texture they provide for grip.

That's really strange to me. I thought all the Keymod rails were built to the same specs., but apparently not.

I assumed it was just like the picatinny (sp?) rails. All manufacturers build the rails to the same specs.

I think all the different manufacturers are building them pretty darn close to each other, but they must vary a little.
