pretty he will start in single a ball like most rookies but it won't be long before he is called up.

According to this article it'll be the Clearwater Threshers. The High A farm team in Florida.

They are starting him in High A but he should move up to AA fairly quickly.

Good chance he'll be a AA to MLB jump

This. Assuming he progresses as expected, they're not going to stick him in AAA.

Is that the case for most players like him?

doubt they force him to the big league club this year. Phillies are a mess right now

They are a mess.... but that could also be a reason why they move him to the bigs pretty quick. Nothing to lose kind of mentality and it gets Nola some experience in the bigs.

But yea, I dont think he will be in the minors that long. From everything Ive read / heard from scouts and analysts, they all think he will be the 1st pitcher called up to the show.

But who knows... time will tell.

Somebody on the 40 man roster is gonna get the boot. Until then they can't even think about calling him up.

He will either go to short season Rookie ball, there is a chance he goes to the Clearwater phillies in the FSL. That's a pitchers league. But most likely he would go to the short season rookie ball team with all of the other drafted phillies
