Never been, and playing there this weekend. What can i expect and what kind of shape is it right now?

Expect extreme distance if you play from the man tees, stupid holes, broken cart GPS, and a good time if you drink enough

You can also go down the slide on 16 to break the monotony of your round

Definitely in great shape. Only 2 Stupid holes and a bunch of really good ones. Hit an iron off of 6 tee just to carry the fairway bunkers on the right and you'll be in good shape for your second. Hit your driver over the fairway bunker on 9 and you'll be in perfect shape with a short iron in. The rest of them are pretty straight forward.
