Horrible timing for the Bergdahl backlash (re: this Friday)

Friday, June 6th is the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. After the Bergdahl stunt, I can't imagine anyone in the administration would be well received by veterans groups.

Not really the issue for me. It's how he got him home and whether it was worth the cost. Why are some on the left only focused on Bergdaul's life and not the life of other soldiers he put in danger by walking off? Why is the left not concerned about the precedent set by bypassing Congress on something that did not require such quick turn-around?
