One senior military source says many at Pentagon advised the President not to make the trade of Taliban prisoners for Bergdahl. (Equated it to giving up 5, 4 star generals.)

Seems his fellow soldiers aren't reliable, in the opinion of the State Dept.
FOX News reporter: Does the State Department consider Sgt. Bergdahl to be a deserter?
State Department spokesperson Marie Harf: No, Lucas, what we said is we are going to learn the facts on what happened here.
FOX News: According to those around him, his platoon-mates his squadron-mates said he walked off…
Harf: Lucas, some of them, there are conflicting reports out there about this.
FOX News: The guys on national television last night, his squad-mates, platoon-mates were not correct?
Harf: I’m saying we do not know the fact pattern yet. We don’t. Nobody knows exactly what happened that night.

Is this administration just stupid, or are all these things they do deliberate? I have never seen a more inept administration in my lifetime. The sad part is, our electorate will contuinue to elect unqualified candidates because they are also stupid. I truly fear for my country.

Anybody disagree with this statement?
GEN Dempsey said this morning that after a recovery period and intelligence debriefing that if the UCMJ was violated, and I'm certain the AR 15-6 investigation bears that out, the soldier will be prosecuted.

Unfair? Did someone ask him how fair it was to release 5 of the Top Taliban Generals For an American that might have sympathized with our enemy, and possibly left his post to willingly aid Jihad against America....???

The guys who were there don't know anything. We will tell you what the facts are, just after we draft and review them. Is there any other way this could possibly go then for them to "conclude based on facts" that he was not a deserter but was captured, tortured, etc? That's literally the only way Obama does not come out looking incompetent or nefarious in motive.
The question is whether the media and the public just swallow it and move on.

I saw some of those guys on the news, Fox is supposed to have 6 together at 8 central. They don't mix words...this isn't a question in their eyes, they discuss wanting him shot, to life in levenworth...They are fairly impressive, military trained individuals. I think there is no doubt he was a deserter, and possibly worse...
