Metal head that I work with calls Jerry Garcia pretty good, says Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden blows him away.
Settle the debate, I'm not a metal guy, so I don't have much of an opinion for or against Smith

I cant take any metal guitarist seriously. They may super talented, but how would we ever know?

Iron Maiden is fricking awesome. Obviously so is Grateful Dead and all the other Jerry projects.

To point out that what you said was ridiculous. Jam bands and their guitarists are boring as shite to me, but that doesn't mean I can't take them seriously. Different strokes for different folks.
