Vera Cruz- I used to eat there a lot and love it. I remember it being amazing, but that might only be because I was in college and it was pretty cheap.

The restaurants at West End.
...and good call on Vizard's.
Rene' Bistrot was crap, though. It may have been ok for lunch, but they sucked for dinner.

Not in Nola but I miss Potpourri, it was tucked away in Dillards on the second floor of Lakeside shopping center.. Place had an awesome salad bar, chicken salad, and gumbo.

Recent ones I miss are Green Goddess and this little place on Banks across from Jesuit. I can't remember the name but they had carnita tamales topped with poached eggs and tomatillo salsa.

Didn't Rene Bajeux open a restaurant with a chef partner? I don't recall the name. It was around 2000 or so
