Looked like a clean catch and then he dropped the ball taking it out.

that was a catch.

he caught the ball rolled over still in control of the ball, than while going to grab the ball it comes out. By rule, I believe, it is a catch.

the announcers think you have to show the ball for it to be a catch. That isn't the case.

Yep. He had the ball way more than long enough. Then it came out at the end.

I agree they said he came out but the way I see it is he was trying to just grab the ball out for a throw to 3rd and it just fell out in the process

The announcers seem hesitant to truly bag on the umps for a bad call. They act like they have never heard of the transfer rule.

the only time that wouldn't be a catch was earlier in the season in the MLB, but they changed that rule for good reason.

this is another reason full replay should be added to college baseball.

Nobody said start the games, but it is relevant to LSU who wins that regional. Me, I'm watching it because I wanna see em BOTH go thru every pitcher on their staff.
