You just have to wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it.

But sooner or later they're going to collapse.

Then the Muffin Man iced it.

Southeastern could have easily won this game if they were used to playing in front of 10k fans. They collapsed under the pressure

The key is someone from LSU has to deliver th knockout blow, like McMullen. Sooner or later the pitcher loses control, an error happens, but you have to finish them off. We never got a true big hit until Mac. Moore have us a big hit, but Scivique killed the momentum.

Stony Brook just didn't understand that they were supposed to collapse.

They did their job in game 1. If we had an outfielder on the roster we'd have won that super. #katzandrapharentoutfielders

That SB Super, while definitely a hard one to swallow especially given the perceived "national" embarrassment (Sportcenter coverage, etc), was bound to happen at some point. We aren't gonna win 100% of home Super Regionals, which was our home Super clip going Into that Super...we were bound to lose a Super at home at some point, and SB was really the perfect team to come in with ZERO pressure on them...,the unknown with nothing to lose against big bad LSU. There probably is a lot of truth to the above posters comment that SB "didn't even know they were supposed to collapse" They were too small and too unfamiliar with the stage to even realize how big the stage wAs in a sense. not to mention, regardless of the name on their jerseys, that was a fairly salty team with a lot of really good talent.

The good news about that is hopefully we don't have to worry about another super home loss for a while....we got the 1/10 out of the way hopefully.
