2014 LSU Baseball proving that winning is everything!

I tried to stay away but there are just too many SELU fans talking smack, I had to come back.
Wins - 44
Conf Wins - 17
Home Wins - 29
Away - 15
RPI - 9
SOS - 39
Wins vs Top 50 RPI - 14
But the focus was and has been about our Non-Conference Schedule's weakness.
Just to have a point of reference:
SEC Teams Non-Conference SOS
Florida - 2
Georgia - 26
Kentucky - 29
Vanderbilt - 65
Auburn - 119
Ole Miss - 128

So when the complaining starts next season about a weak OOC schedule, remember this page.

if we had a higher OOC SOS we probably would have been a higher seed, or we could have lost in the SECt and still had a top 8 seed.

I am only focusing on how it won't get much better the next few years and we should all just move onto something else...

those schedules look better OOC not great but better.
Plaing Balor Houston and Nebraska will be good for our RPI, the others not so much.
yes winning is central but I don't want to be 40+ in the SOS every season.

Winning is the most important by far and I don't think anyone would disagree, but we need to try to play at-least some decent competition in OOC. It prepares us better for the conference schedule, and it sets up better for the post season.
