If you had to pick one date night restaurant, no reservations, and price doesn't matter - where would you go.

Baton Rouge.

I'm torn. Usually we would go to sushi Yama but I would like something different.

Please suggest where and why.

TIA

Edit: going to Maison Lacour. I'll report back. Thanks for the advice.

2nd edit: Great night with Mrs. House. We had crabmeat stuffed artichoke hearts, rack of lamb, sweetbreads and lots of wine. Sorry no pics. I don't take food pics at the table - I don't even bring my phone into the restaurant.

We will be back. Great atmosphere, service, and food. Thanks Motorboat.

Weinerschnitzel for dinner. Eat like royalty on the birdshit-encrusted picnic tables out front.

Weinerschnitzel for dessert back at your place.

I would go to Juban's for Sunday brunch and get the $5 bottomless campaign.

Don't doubt me...

My style for a wife date night also. Upbeat and imtimate, R2R nailed it.

I'll throw Roberto's in the mix if your wiling to drive approx 25 min, and are into the rustic, old wood kind of vibe

Do it right and go to Ruth's.

Every legislator in Louisiana was in there last night.

Ate there a few weeks ago. It's always good. One of my favorite BR restaurants.

I'd also recommend Nino's, but call for a reservation.

Nino's for small nice and quiet, Jubans for a bit more energy without too much.

But I'm going back to Zorbas. Dear lord I have missed this place.
