Yep. Hope it'll be able to get some traction in the location. If managed well, I think it can.

That place has killed more restaurants than small pox. Hope Does can buck the trend.

I think the NELA love for Doe's will help it survive, or have a solid chance.

If it's in Washington Plaza, it'll be there for all of two months.

But, I'll make sure I get some tamales before it closes.

As a franchise, I'd expect they will have an ad campaign, plus signage along I-20.

Place seems to have the oddest franchising strategy.

I'd heard they'd been sniffing around Mecca for years....can't blame them...smart operators always want to be in the hot bed of activity. Mecca continues to pull away from the pack..

The original manager/partner of the Outback had told me that a few years back. Hope it's a good run for him. Do you know the format? I'm missing Vieux Carre's fresh fish.

Hell yes - good news. I assume they will still have a good selection of wine.

People in town for business liked that place for lunch - and I was glad to pay for it on my company card!
