Through the first 4 episodes of Arrow...does it get any better?

I am not saying it sucks, but it's not really a show I would want to binge watch. The action is excellent, and I enjoy that it is more brutal than I thought it would be.
It is a bit tedious...I feel like the same thing has happened in all four episodes. Does it pick up at some point in the first season? Or should I bail?

Somewhere around mid-season they find their footing, although I like the 1st half of the season just because he was a vigilante that was going around killing folks (which is unique for a comic book show). The season finale is actually really good, and it has a cool ending that kind of goes in a different path than most comic book shows/movies (I can't explain it like I want because it would be a spoiler).
FYI...season 2 is epic imo.

Not yet. Netflix never seems to be in a rush to get the seasons up after they have finished their original run. Heck, sometimes they won't release a season until the next season has already started.
