What kind of snakes? Dead or alive?

I've had success using funnel style fish traps to catch alive. Placement, bait, and regular trap checking are key.

Why don't you just grab them when you see it?

They're trying to do the dirty work for you. Leave the king snakes alone and you'll have fewer Cobra kangs...

You beat me to it, django.

It's so easy to distinguish venomous snakes here in the South.

Just nut up and do it.

BTW, don't be a puss and kill every one you catch. Snakes kill prey we don't need.

Education is key.

The exception to the last picture is the coral snake. Their iris's are round.

Hint, don't lean over to get close enough to look at their eyes. You will get bit in the face, BOOM.

Saw a guy catch rattle snakes by tieing a string around a dead mouse head and attaching it to a stake in the ground. The snake eats the mouse and is stuck like chuck unless he pukes it up.

Why?

Or do you just want to argue about it here?

You should. No telling what might happen if they're allowed to live. Death and destruction most likely. I'd be scared too.

I actually have a large number of snake traps out as part of a number of research projects. They work quite well, but I am not about to give you any ideas!

Might explain why you aren't catching any lol.

Acutally were 3 days apart weekend before last.

I am a huge puss regarding snakes, and I don't even think of killing king snakes. I will kill more than I should, but some are killed by my high pitched girl like shriek...so I cant be held responsible.

There used to be a buttonwood behind your house that would have up to 10 in it at the same time.
