@RazorbackFB: Arkansas at Missouri moved to Friday, Razorbacks will play day after Thanksgiving for 17th time in last 19 years LINK #WPS

Although it's not confirmed that this is EVERY year..you have to think it could be. Which means that when A&M comes to Baton Rouge, we'll be playing on Saturday. With Auburn/Alabama playing at 3pm on Saturdays, it appears the game will be a virtual lock for a night game for years to come.

TL;dr - It appears that A&M @ LSU will always be a Saturday night in Death Valley.

Yeah I believe that was the deal they announced a few months back...lsu@a&m will always be on thanksgiving night and a&m@lsu will always be on Saturday.

A&M gets what they want: a replacement for Texas on thanksgiving. LSU got what it wanted: no more Friday home games, and no more fake rivalry with Arkansas.

That is great news. Texas A&M/LSU is a nice follow up to the Iron Bowl.

I do not like playing on Thanksgiving. After this season, we will not have 2 bye weeks so we will have to save our bye week for after week 11. That will create a huge advantage for our rival over in Alabama.

A Guaranteed 1:30 start every year? Screw that. The crowd was always dead, too. A&M is on the obvious up..and Texas A&M @ LSU will be just as important (conference wise) as the Iron bowl in determining who will win the conference.

Mark my words, by 2017 A&M @ LSU will be played in TS on Thanksgiving Night. That game will be a T'giving game every year for TV. Alleva was fooled by Slive on us playing UF every year back when we voted to allow A&M in the SEC. And Alleva has been fooled agaIN.

I didn't mind the 1:30 Friday games when they were away, but as a home game, they sucked. Shitty start time, most students are gone, less people make it to campus, etc.

I agree 2017 will be the year. Prime time on Thanksgiving night in Tiger Stadium...with all the battles for recruiting and tv exposure we would be complete idiots if we didn't jump all over this opportunity.

I don't recall Alleva ever saying that outright. We all hoped that would be the case since we gave A&M what they wanted, but there was still some concern that we'd be playing on Friday afternoon.

Insert Sunbelt team the week before and Boom, instant bye week.

I'd trade a Friday game every year for not having to play on Thanksgiving every other year, TBH.
